Oracle DBCS : How to work with Oracle Public Cloud

Here are the steps, how to use DBCS for creating Oracle Database.

Simplified steps to create Database Cloud Service.

List of actions:
1. We will learn generating key pairs(private and public key) using puttygen.exe
2. we will create a DBCS (Database cloud Service)
3. We will use OpenSSH authorized key to access database created in the oracle cloud.

Step-1: Generate key pairs and save them in a directory. Copy the red rounded portion of OpenSSH key and saved it also in a file. This key will be used during cloud DB creation.

Step-2: Login to cloud admin user and start creating service

Step-3: Choose the database version, subscription type etc. accordingly.

Step-4: Provide the necessary details here for creating the instance.

Step-5: Here we can see the instance "clouddb" created.

Step-6: Now we will connect to the newly created cloud database using the public IP.

Step-7: Choose the private key generated at step-1 to connect to the cloud database instance.
